The Tender Side of Me (AUTOBIOGRAPHY)

The Ministry of Education has endorsed, ‘The Tender Side of Me,’ the autobiography of Joanne Simpson as an
important reference that gives highlight to ordinary Jamaicans who have achieved success through hard work and
determination.

Says the Ministry, “This book could be placed in the schools’ libraries to be used as a resource material for teachers.
It could be useful at the tertiary level especially where there is the need to highlight community personnel who have
served well. Also, it could be used as a tool to assist upper secondary and tertiary students in writing reflective pieces
in some subject areas.’
